Nursing at PVH "People, Passion, Purpose, Possibilities"
Aphreikah DuHaney Chief Nursing Officer
Welcome to the Paradise Valley Hospital Nursing home page. I am pleased at your interest in discovering more about our practice, professionalism and culture.
As the Chief Nursing Officer I invite you to be a part of our exciting journey to excellence as we improve our staffing ratios/skill mix (Med/Surg 1:5 with 24/7 Clinical Coordinator out of ratio, Tele 1:4 with 24/7 clinical coordinator out of ratio), educational opportunities, nursing incentives, and Professional Practice Model. We blend our passion with the science of nursing, which transcends into competent compassionate care for our patients and their families. Our team believes in forming relationships from the bedside to the boardroom, as well as to the community we serve through communication, collaboration, and respect for individual strengths and contributions.
I have not experienced a more engaged group of physicians, or a more compassionate group of professional nurses who work in partnership to provide safe quality evidence based care. Paradise Valley nurses are privileged to lead the way in creating a Patient Family Centered environment that fosters caring and healing for our patients and their families. Abrazo Healthcare and the Paradise Valley Hospital Leadership Team have dedicated $1.3 million to improve staffing and over $5 million in clinical equipment. This combination has enhanced our service to our patients, their families and our employees.
It is my honor and privilege to be a nurse leader at Paradise Valley Hospital. I treasure the gift and embrace the responsibility of serving those I’ve been entrusted to lead and care for. We are passionate people doing great things with a strong connection to our purpose and endless possibilities.
Welcome nurses and those who are aspiring to become nurses.
Yours in Service,
Aphreikah
